What is Arts Therapy?
Combining the Arts with psychology to gain personal insight and more informed decision-making, enhanced wellbeing and new strategies for fulfilling personal and professional goals. Working within a group context, there is the added benefit of employing social dynamics and strategies for team unification.

Who are the providers and what are their qualifications?
Marion Gordon-Flower
is a graduate of Masters of Arts in Arts Therapy (Clinical) programme achieving first class honours. She is an experienced arts therapist within a number of contexts. She also has a Bachelor of Media Arts and a Diploma in Secondary Teaching and has been an art teacher for a number of years. Other roles have included working in advertising and business administration. She is currently a full-time health practitioner and arts therapist assisting people to achieve their recovery goals (including employment) and establish to establish better health.
Roderick Flower has a Bachelor of Human Biology and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. A former Medical GP, he now works full-time in the Mental Health field as a recovery pathways educator, WRAP facilitator and health practitioner. He is an accomplished musician having formerly recorded as part of a band and has ability with a number of musical instruments. He has been a long-term keen supporter of the Arts and has participated in drama with Mt Albert Players, and in a number of culturally based traditional dance groups. His forte is providing creative strategies for stress management and sustaining good health.
